Tuesday, November 14, 2023, 9am New York, 3pm Paris, 10pm Beijing: User Experience Evaluation Methods.
In the November Tasting event, we discuss various kinds of experience evaluation methods. While the methods have been collected mostly from user experience field, many of the methods are used and applicable across experience research fields. The Sensual Evaluation Instrument in this picture is a good example of such a cross-disciplinary method.
Before this Experience Research Tasting session, please read at least one of the following materials to enable lively discussion:
- Scientific publication: Vermeeren et al. (2010). User Experience Evaluation Methods: Current State and Development Needs.
- Slides with method examples: Roto et al. (2011). User Experience Evaluation – Which method to choose?
The event is brought to you by the Experience Research Society (EXPRESSO), which also provides descriptions of 81 experience evaluation methods and a search tool to find the right method for your research needs. If you want to add a new method to the collection, please contact info@experienceresearchsociety.org.
We hope to see both academics and practitioners in this multidisciplinary session!
