IPPA Circle – Shared Seeing: Designing for Connection and Well-Being with Roger Irwin
Many of the digital experiences we encounter today are designed for speed and constant engagement, leaving little room to slow down or connect meaningfully. Shared seeing invites people to unplug and reflect together on the aesthetic experiences that bring them energy and meaning.
Drawing on community arts examples from around the world, this experiential workshop explores how everyday aesthetic experiences, such as photography, film, music, and writing, can be intentionally designed to cultivate connection and well-being.
The session includes ongoing small-group conversations where participants try the approach together and explore how shared seeing could be used in their own communities. Participants will leave with a practical way to design experiences that foster connection and meaning, along with new connections to others in the field.
Note: Registration ends two days before the event, please register before March 15th!
