Online 7 Experiences Summit 2025, September 29–30
DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL 18 MAY
FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE SESSIONS
ARE YOU READY to travel around the world in 48 hours and make your mark in global experience research? The Experience Research Society EXPRESSO gives you the chance to do exactly that in September 2025! We’re now looking for experience researchers and practitioners to join our flagship event 7X Summit that will take place fully online and get you in touch with leading experts and rising names in experience research from all around the world.
At the 7X Summit, academic host organizations from six continents will be organizing exciting online sessions for you to present and participate in. When preparing your own paper for submission, you are invited to submit an extended abstract, full research paper, or workshop proposal.
If you submit an extended abstract or full paper, your presentation will be part of a session with two to three other presentations, and you have two options: 1) target your proposal at one of our hosts, to be presented at their session, or 2) submit your proposal for inclusion at one of our general research sessions. Similarly, if you submit a workshop proposal, a special time slot outside the host sessions will be assigned for you.
All types of submissions will use the APA referencing style and the same research submission template linked here in the call. Files will be submitted in the EasyChair portal (see below) for which you’ll need an account. If you are having technical difficulties, you can email the organizers.
All accepted participants will be expected to register for the conference held at Zoom Events. The pricing will be modest, with 20 eur for the regular fee and 10 eur for the student fee. We will launch our summit portal for streaming the sessions, complemented by art installations and virtual meeting rooms.
During the selection process conducted by our scientific committee, your submissions will be double-blind peer reviewed and the final submissions may be accepted after revision for publication in the open access proceedings, 7 Experiences Summit 2025 of the Experience Research Society, ISSN 3021-1875.
Where to target your submission
If you wish to target your proposal (of an extended abstract or full paper) for one of our confirmed hosts, they invite you to address the key theme of the 7X Summit 2025: Change. How is experience research changing in the mid-2020s, and what is it changing both within the academia and beyond it? What is the current impact of experience research on art and business, and what are the upcoming trends that will change the way we think about local and global experiences? Now’s the time for you to say.
The host sessions will be conducted in English except for Universidad del Desarrollo in Spanish.
